The Marketing Financial Analyst is responsible for turning data into insight with intent of driving business strategy decisions. This position aggregates data from various sources, performs analysis, creates visual representations of analytic insights, and builds scalable methods to make this repeatable. This position reports to Operations & Strategy Manager.


  • Define, build, and distribute automated, actionable and accurate dashboards that highlight KPI performance
  • Query and extract data from various databases and aggregate it to perform data analysis and create visual representations of analytic insights 
  • Analyze current business performance and build models to both explain current trends and project the impact of operational changes.
  • Identify gaps or opportunities to improve the business with intent of driving revenue.
  • Collaborate with business owners to validate efficiency, profitability and productivity measures, and to evaluate new business opportunities 
  • Assist in A/B testing experimental setups, define metrics, and apply statistical analysis to evaluate results.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis as required 


  • Highly analytical: Exceptional analytical and problem solving capabilities, including the ability to logically and efficiently structure ambiguous problems, identify sources of data, conduct complicated analysis, identify key insights and recommend actions
  • Experience working with massive amounts of data using SQL & BI tools to conduct analyses

  • Creative problem solver: Skilled at information collection and discovery; demonstrated ability to develop practical, workable solutions. Skilled at learning and applying new technology tools.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment 
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience that has delivered increased revenue
  • Works with intent and creates leverage: Able to design efficient, scalable solutions while constantly focusing efforts on activities with the highest ROI
  • Demonstrates ownership: Ability to learn quickly, be proactive, and assume ownership for broad tracks of work. This role is intended for somebody who will take meaningful responsibility for scaling and maintaining reporting and analysis.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in analytical environments with emphasis on data analysis, reporting, operational strategy and planning. Relevant experience includes consulting, sales operations, business intelligence, supply chain analytics, or related fields.
  • Required proficiency in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups) and SQL
  • Positive and passionate attitude

Education Requirements 

  • Business / Financial background.  Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
